Colts fans remain calm.

Posted by Lenny from Indy On December - 28 - 2009

Stop bitching.  The first string Colts played for 2 quarters and change, and only put up 15 points.  It’s not like they never saw the field.  They had time to play.

Would you rather change places with the fans of these teams?

1. St. Louis Rams – 60 more minutes and they have the first drat pick.

2. Washington Redskins – All the money spend on all of those players and  they sit at the bottom of the NFC East.

3. Chicago Bears – The interception riddled QB with no one to throw the ball to?

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – The sharp decline this team has felt since 2002 is comical.

5. Buffalo Bills – Been a joke since the music  city miracle.

6. New York Giants – Just played themselves out of the playoffs.

7. Seattle  Seahawks – Mora Jr is the coach.  We’ve seen that movie here with Mora Senior.

8. Cleveland Browns – Nothing good comes from or out of Cleveland.

9. Oakland Raiders – Commitment to Excellence.  Just Win Baby. Buzz phrases + bad drafting = failure.

10. Detroit Lions – Fail. Abort. Restart. Repeating that cycle since 1997.

The Colts are first place in the AFC South, number 1 seed in the AFC, and the road to the Super Bowl comes through Indy.  Take a breath you spoiled brats.

Urban Meyer… slight return.

Posted by Lenny from Indy On December - 27 - 2009

Florida football coaching legend Urban Meyer has changed his mind and decided not to resign but will take an indefinite leave of absence, which leaves open the door for his possible return to the Gators.  This means he’ll have some say on what goes on next year.  More than likely he will be a consultant for the Gators.  Then he decides if he wants to come back next season.

What does this mean?  In this scenario, Florida has a .500 season.  Still no bowl game.

The Gator Nation is not happy with this outlook either.

You either play the game 100% or you find a new coach.  If he can’t coach due to his health, you find a new coach.

Urban Meyer leaves Florida.

Posted by Lenny from Indy On December - 26 - 2009

Due to health related issues,  Urban Meyer stepped down as the head coach of Florida.  While not life threatening, he will be 100% healthy to replace Big Balls Rod in  Michigan in about a years time.

What’s up next season for your Florida Gators?  About 3 wins.

Developing…

Merry Christmas

Saints handed loss number 1 on the season.

Only the Colts stand as the only undefeated team this season.  Somewhere right now Mercury Morris is cooking up a brew of haterade to start pouring all over our beloved Colts.

In the meantime, here is a guy who tells the tale of the Cowboys beating the Saints in sign language.

Oh no you didn’t!

Jerome Bettis said that a lack of leadership was one of the reasons why Pittsburgh lost 5 straight games.  He also called out Coach Mike Tomlin.

Ben Roethlisberger said, “I guess he’s entitled to his opinion. He’s not on this team, he’s not in this locker room, so he’s just taking an outside view as all of you guys are. If you don’t know, I don’t think you should speak on it.”

Now what Ben Roethlisberger meant to say, and this is me loosely translating and reading between the lines.  Don’t hold me to it…

“HEY!  A-HOLE! WASN’T I THE GUY WHO GOT YOUR REPORTER ASS A RING BEFORE YOU RETIRED?  DID I NOT ASK YOU TO RETIRE AND IN 2005 I GOT YOU A RING YOU UNGRACIOUS F-ING BASTARD?  I COULD HAVE BEEN LIKE ELI AND LET YOU GO AND THE WILLIE PARKER ERA WOULD HAVE STARTED A YEAR EARLIER.  YOU COULD HAVE BEEN TIKI BARBER!  YOU HAVE BEEN ON TEAMS THAT HAVE STUNK UP THE ROOM BEFORE JEROME “THE BUS” BETTIS.  NOW SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH BEFORE I GO TO YOUR HOUSE AND TAKE YOUR SUPER BOWL RING BACK AND MELT IN DOWN FOR FILLINGS FOR MY TEETH.”

I could be wrong but I think that what Roethlisberger was trying to say to Bettis.

Colts v Broncos: Post Game Wrap Up

Posted by Lenny from Indy On December - 14 - 2009

Denver knew they were in for a tough game.  Check out the Broncos as they take the final walk to the Lucas Oil Stadium field.  They knew they had no shot today.  Check them out.

All somber and defeated before they started to play.

The game was largely a snore fest as the Colts wrapped this up pretty easy.  Dallas Clark caught 3 touchdown passes today.  Denver did everything they could to try and stop him.  Even pull down his pants…

Weak!  You can’t beat the man so you try to strip the man?  HELLA WEAK!

The Colts won 28-16.  The Colts got so bored they put in Kendra Wilkinson as center in the fourth quarter.

Man she looks great… She just had a kid and already getting playing time.  I’m so glad we signed her to the team.

Next up… Peyton Manning for 2 series and then Matt Painter leads the Colts against Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night!

Colts keep on rolling…

Posted by Lenny from Indy On December - 13 - 2009

Brandon Marshall caught for 200 yards for Denver earlier today.

He set a record for most receptions in a game (21).

Denver lost 28-16.

Fail.

Colts keep on rolling.

They have set the record for the most consecutive season wins (22).

Win!

Drew Brees on Jay Leno – 12/09/09

Posted by Lenny from Indy On December - 12 - 2009

From what I have read online, Jay Leno at 10pm isn’t doing well.  Here is former Purdue star/current New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees on a segment called 10 questions.  However, he is number 9 so they asked 9.  Clever.  Clearly, the Leno writers are in the zone with that subtle change.
